Kazama Autoworks,along with Top Speed Racing formed a race team to compete in the inaugural Sepang 1000km Race. The entered the race in Class 1 with a Satria Gti,powered by the familiar 1.8litre 4G93 engine.

This was the first time that the team had ever entered a race, and to take the silver in Class 1 and Class 2 overall, was something which we never expected.

The driver’ lineup for Team Kazama Top Speed Racing includes local drift hero, Ser Ming Hui,aka ah fai, Goi Chun Kiat and Mohd. Nizam Yazet.

Team Kazama Top Speed Racing finished the race in 181 laps with a total race time of 8hours and 50:19.641 minutes. The team also clocked a best lap time of 2 minutes and 45.421 seconds.

In conjuction with Rd.4 of the Super GT Chanpionships that was held in Sepang recently, Kazama Autoworks in the days leading up to the event organized a small get together, in support of the championship series.

The promotion was attended by cars lovers and racing fans from the Southern state. There was also a display of car outside.Guest were treated to a scrumptions meal and were seen happily mingling with one another. Before the event ended, the group once again got together for a group photo session.

The Kazama Autoworks Japan GT promo was organized in a bid to educate their members as well as members of the public on the race series.     (sourse by : Hypertune)
